Lucid Point Media is an independent media company in development, being built to make honest, community-centred conversation. One podcast. One travelling table. Taking shape in full view of the people it will serve.
Truth can be manipulated, fragmented and weaponised. Honesty cannot, because honesty is the presence of intention. A media company that vows truth is vowing something it doesn't control and can't verify. So we vow only what is ours to keep: our conduct, our openness, our word. The communities we serve will judge whether we keep it.
The table will sometimes carry research, reporting and the work of other hands, brought because it is useful and never because it is convenient. LPM is a media company, not a laboratory: we cannot verify what we did not make. What we vow instead is provenance. We will tell you plainly where a thing came from, and what we do and do not know about it.
If it isn't honest and useful, it doesn't ship.

The table at home. Long-form conversation, recorded with room to breathe. One episode, told in two parts: the first to meet the person, the second for the heavier ground. Between them sits the question window, where the audience's questions shape what Part 2 becomes.
The table on the road. In-person community sessions held by local Tables, each named for the place that holds it. No stage and no audience: everyone who comes sits at the table.
The formats are still evolving, and these descriptions will sharpen as the projects do.
Most media marks its own homework. Lucid Point Media is being built so it can't. The Community Advisory Board will be an independent group drawn from the communities we serve, with a standing mandate to examine our work against our values, and to say so plainly when we fall short.
The CAB is being formed now, and it is designed to grow: each Table that forms will hold a seat on it.
