Lucid Point Media is an independent media company in development in West Yorkshire, being built to make honest, community-centred conversation. One podcast. One travelling table. Taking shape in full view of the people it will serve.
A promise you can hold us to.
Any company can write a value on a page. What matters is whether there is a mechanism behind it, and what happens on the day it is inconvenient. These are ours.
We vow only what is ours to keep
Conduct, openness and our word. We do not vow the truth of what other hands made, because we cannot verify it — we vow to tell you where it came from and how far our knowledge of it goes.
Provenance travels with the work
Anything brought to the table carries its source with it. If we cannot say where a claim came from, it does not get made — and where our knowledge stops, the episode says so out loud.
Corrections are published, not buried
When we get something wrong it is corrected in the open, on the record, with what changed and why. A quiet edit is a second dishonesty on top of the first.
The people we cover can answer
Nothing is made about a community without that community at the table, and a guest is met before the heavier ground — never clipped into a shape that suits us.

Lucid Point Media was founded by Filly Santos, who leads the company's direction and sits at the table for every build decision made so far.
What the Board can actually compel.
An advisory board that can only advise is decoration. The CAB is being constituted so that its findings have somewhere to land and someone who must answer them.
A mandate that does not depend on our goodwill
The Board's remit is being written into the company's Articles of Association, on public record, so a future version of us cannot quietly remove it when it becomes uncomfortable.
It examines the work, not the summary of it
The Board reviews what we actually made against what we said we would do, and it says so plainly when the two do not match.
Every Table that forms holds a seat
The Board grows with the places we sit in, so the communities carrying the work keep a standing say in how it behaves.
Its constitution is public
The CAB Charter is being written now and will be published, so its powers can be read rather than taken on trust.
The Charter and the rewritten Articles both appear on the roadmap as they become real — not before.
